After a car accident that puts a man into a coma, a small-town taxi driver becomes overburdened with paying the injured man’s hospital costs to the point of considering murder as a possible way out.
JOHNNY MA
He was born as Nan Ma in Shanghai (China) and immigrated to Toronto with his family at 10. After careers in business and fashion, he made the move to documentary filmmaking in 2008. Graduating from Columbia University in Film Directing & Screenwriting, his short films screened at TIFF, Dallas International Film Festival, Aspen Shortfest and other international festivals. He is currently in development of his second feature project also set in China.
