HYENA
Michael Logan is a complex mix of high-functioning addict and corrupt Police officer. But his dark world is evolving as a recent influx of ruthless Albanian gangsters is threatening to change London’s criminal landscape. So far, his instinct had always kept him one step ahead of everybody else. His self-destructive behavior and the brutality of new gang leaders eventually start leading him down a slippery slope where fear and doubts are scattered along the way…
GERARD JOHNSON
He started his career in filmmaking as a production assistant, working on commercials. In 2001, he directed his first short film, Lone Man, starring his cousin, Peter Ferdinando. After the short Mug, awarded at the Big Issue Film Festival, he directed Tony, shot in one week with a hundred pounds. Upon Paul Abbott’s advices, he developped the main character of Tony to turn the short into a feature-length film produced by Abbott and awarded at the 2009 Edinburgh Film Festival with the Trailblazer Award.
