Andreas and Simon are policemen and friends but lead very different lives. Whereas Andreas lives a simple life with his wife and son, newly divorced Simon spends most of his time in the local bar. Everything changes when the men are called out to a domestic disturbance involving a couple of junkies. Andreas finds a baby in the couple’s apartment and is faced with a dilemma…
SUSANNE BIER
She directed and wrote Open Hearts (based on the Dogma 95 principles), Brothers (Audience Award at Sundance and yielded to a US remake by Jim Sheridan) and After the Wedding (nominated for an Academy Award). She won the Academy Award for Best Film in a Foreign Language, the Golden Globe and Best European Film Award in 2011 for In a Better World.
