A young woman is found dead at the side of a lake in a small town in northern Italy. Inspector Sanzio is called in. The crime is probably connected to one of the families in the village. Everyone that the inspector meets and interrogates could be the potential killer of this beautiful, sportive and passionate woman bearing a tragic secret.
